Tygerbudger NewsGeocentric is the management company that manages the Maitland CID. In working with local SAPS we have clamped down on the free movement of shopping trolleys and wheelie bins and are very pleased with the results. As the newspaper article indicates we have often found stolen property in shopping trollies and wheelie bins including air conditioners or parts thereof and other metal objects of value including lamp posts and street name signs.

Geocentric initiated an information and education programme on wheelie bins and shopping trollies called “Save the Trolley” some years ago and present this to all interested groups such as neighbourhood watches to alert people of the negative impact that these activities may have on their area.
